So many of you requested copies of Robert Lloyd's work, and we are so pleased that we have at last produced this online catalogue with such a wide variety of his magnificent paintings.

Robert is now accepted as being one of the world's top marine artists and his work, has become extremely collectable. We have tried to provide you with a choice that will allow you all to have something very special indeed and to help ensure the value of these prints, they are all strictly limited to a very small edition. But for me personally, it's not the value of these prints that really matters, but the sheer enjoyment I get from just being able to look up at Robert's wonderful paintings. His detail and the way he manages to capture the feeling of just how it used to be, is amazing. I'll even own up to saying that after a couple of drinks I can almost hear the sounds and voices of yesteryear, as I drift off into his work and back down a very special memory lane.

So a special thank you Robert for all the tremendous work you are doing to create such a fine record of our great merchant navy and for giving ship lovers and people like me a little of what 'the very best days of our lives'.
